Ambo for me, after DD rated them so highly.
Interesting that Garden Organic, where my seed came from, lists them as 2nd earlies ::)
The potato database says they are early mains, so I don't suppose it makes much difference  :D

Same here. That's why I haven't gone for a 2E.

i did them last year and had great spuds, only going for markies instead of cara this year as they are a more 'all round' chip, mash, boil roaster
first year grower

Surprised I am the only one growing Romano, they are a version of Desiree which in my opinion and that of a blind taste test was the better of the two, get tons of spuds as Desiree and are slug and owt else resistant. Try them their the future  ;)
I normal chuck a couple of rows of Picasso for baking, but last year we eat so many we just ended up getting sick of them so for the first year in a long time its Romano only.

Just looked them up & I'll definitely give them a try next year - I've already got more than my usual quota of seed spuds for the year.  I used my £10 T&M voucher and got their "Sarpo trio" which consisted of Sarpo Axona, Sarpo Mira & Blue Danude, and also trying out Lady Balfour for the first time too

Is nobody else growing Remarka?
It all depends what you put into the ground, to what you get out

If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!
