Talking to yourself maybe MAD, but at least I know what I mean.
You never stop learning.

So it seems.

Come harvest time, I'm going into hiding.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I can see DD being on the Ambo nectar come the autumn!  :)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

Maris Piper for me! As my nearest and dearest says, why fix something that aint broke. MP has always been a good harvester for us,I know there are many others out there, but I would hate to be let down by trying something new. Guess I'm set in my ways and besides,I'd hate my missus to say 'told you so' if it all went horribly wrong
people talk rubbish

After a sortie to Dundry Nurseries I came back with Mozart, Cecile and Ratte in addition to some good old King Eds as my maincrop spuds.

Being new to all this I went with my garden centre's recommendation of Isle of Jura.  Be interested in views from others.

I went with what was left in the allotment shop on Sunday when I went in - Valour and Stemster.  Both new for me but after the slug damage I suffered on last year's Maris Piper's I'm happy to give them a go!

Been offered Kerr's Pink by a fellow allotmenteer,  they're highly blight resistant so allotment-friendly. Never heard of them until now, so going to give them a whirl  ;).
