Get treatment fast, DD

Too late methinks  ;)

Mind you, I can't talk.  A colleague came in today with 3 packets of seeds from Plants of Distinction for me as I shared an order with her    I'd forgotten about them completely  :D

At last!

Batchelors Bigga Peas ready to sow for Xmonius Salads pea shoots!

Bought four packets of them In Snazberries, and cleared the shelf - hope they work...:0)

(This must be the most important post here - an immediate response to growing, which we are doing as we speak, and I'd like the umpire (moderateur...) to regulate if you please...)!

Doesn't that action make you a sow-aholic as well as a seed-aholic
We're just buying seeds, so far.............perhaps you need more urgent treatment than us  :D

I actually am trying to be restrained this year and see how much I don't spend!

I know that I'll have to fork out on spuds, but I refuse to panic buy and mail order, I'll put up with what the local nursery has to offer.

The ones from the HSL are going to cost nothing more, the membership having been paid much earlier this year. I've a good stock of a lot of other seed, quite a few self-saved,  and have some covert seed swaps under way, so we'll see how we do!

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I am always really, really restrained.....only ticking 2 or 3 packets per page of the seed catalogue ......and only those seeds I really, really want.   It's only when I write out the Order sheet I just cant believe how long the list is.

I also cant resist trying weird ones that I have never heard of.  What is a Lablab Bean anyway?

And that only the first catalogue.
Sometimes my plants grow despite, not because of, what I do to them.

:D Before you put the order in, go through your seed supplies and see what you actually have. I started doing that a few years ago and was appalled to find I was ordering the same seed I already had 2 or more unopened packets of. It really helps to first find all the seed stashes around the house and bring them together to experience this eye-opener. ;)

When you have limited space, it really does pay to actually grow what you know you'll eat and devote only a small space to something new/unusual.

NO NO NO NO NO Trillium!  :nowink:  ::)
Delusion, madness

You KNOW you have to buy more seeds.....it's nothing to do with whether you will ever plant them
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

What you could do, is - say - decide how many actual plants you need for the year (e.g., we only really want three kale), and then look at ways to just get the ones you need!

I reckon you could even find a shop where they sell small plants, I know, we'll call them 'Plug Plants', and ask them nicely if they'd deliver, or post them to you...

Plugaholics Rule...;0)

On the other hand, I'm raising a list for Premier seeds as we speak...;0(

I just had to have those 9 varieties of Tomato, and another 6 8 varieties of Chilli, oh, and that mixed selection of the seeds that they couldn't make up whole packets with might have something interesting in it, and then I thought I would try Sugar Cane, but get some Sugar Beet as a backup.
And who wouldn't like to grow a Banana Passionfruit?
