Seed-aholics anon again
« on: December 01, 2012, 10:36 »
First off, I want to make it absolutely crystal clear its not my fault.

T&M sent me a £5 gift voucher when they ran out of the perennial plug plant offer a few of us went for and then they emailed more codes for 25% off seeds this weekend  ::)

Ho hum - was only a small order, but then had to order a few more from Real Seeds because ............  well I just had to OK

I know you'll understand   ;)

Yes it was mumofstig who mentioned using that T&M voucher in conjunction with the free P&P last week. It wasn't my fault!

and then when I start browsing I hope I can be strong and not buy things I haven't got the room to grow

Right, I have sorted seeds now and dealt out the packets which I bought for the children at school... early varieties otherwise they are off on their summer hols when things crops

And d'you know what? I have enough seeds really

Trouble is, there are always those tempting offers, those new varieties, those new veggies.......

...... I'm trying hard not to even browse

:(  I would squeal, my seedy friends, but am not feeling too good. me and OH were on lottie this morning for a quick 10 min grab of leeks and snips, and I suddenly passed out. Luckily we had the van there, so OH got me home - have just woken up from a sleep. Feel decidedly queer, but not in any pain. Perhaps bending over in zero degrees pulling snips wasn't a good plan.

luckily I have some SEED catalogues to peruse to cheer me up. Expect the squealing to start shortly.
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

What a shock for you, Plum   Glad you were not on your own. Rest up and persue those catalogues

Having said I am not going to get any more seeds this year, New Shoot has flaunted anchocha in front of me via her thread in Swapsies, and my iron will immediately rusted away  ::) They do sound good

Having said I am not going to get any more seeds this year,

I am sorry dear, but that is plain nonsense, and you know it

I do feel odd NewShoot (odder than my usual state) , so I think I might be

{{{{{ Deep sigh}}}}}

small voice

Yes please to the Trail of Tears

and fainting is bound to leave you feeling a bit odd Plum, as both your brain and your body have had a bit of  a shock.

Don't rush about this evening and seek advice if you don't feel any better later on, please

Ooh Plum! :( I hope it was just parsnip picking that caused it and that the seed catalogues make it all better. :)
