My shallots arrived
« on: January 17, 2011, 20:49 »
Got some French Shallots Jermor that have turned up - not planning on planting them until late Feb.

What shall I do with them in the meantime?

When is the best time to plant them - conditions etc?

Thanks

Keep them cool and dry, they'll easily store until late Feb - and longer.

They like quite open ground, so don't plant if the soil is wet & compact.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
