Marmande , Roma , The Amateur , Glacier , 100s & 1000s , Hawaiian Currant, Gardeners Delight and Black Cherry.

It's a tough life you live.  I would love to taste even one variety that I having growing.  I am hoping that my patience will be rewarded soon though as it looks like there is a hint of colour other than green starting in my greenhouse.  Let us know which you find to be best though.

I did a taste test yesterday on Gardeners's Delight, Tumbler and Sungold. The Sungold was tops with a great rounded flavour with some tangyness. Got to say I was dissappointed with the Gardeners Delight as it was sweet, but not a great flavour. Tumbler was probably halfway between the two.

I been eating Black Cherries for the last couple of days .............loverly.
had a few hawaian currant...ok but a bit sweet for me.............and the marmande outside are not quite ready....still orangey with green shoulders, so can't wait to try that one.

In the polytunnel the Black Krim, Black star, Black Aisberg, Beams Yellow Pear, Incas, Shirley, Koralik and Purple Ukraine are all stubbornly green

My Yellow Beams are so cute ... they're just starting to colour up, looks really weird in the greenhouse
