i saw 3 hens blown past my bedroom window today there's too many to try and round up to put away so i just had to leave them to it, i threw out some leftover popcorn, it blew away across the yard into the field with all the hens being blown after it, it was very funny to watch and they did eventually catch up with the popcorn

Went out this morning to check chooks and let them out. They have a coop within a block shed and a pop hole to outside and side entry to the shed, so they can keep out of the wind and scrat about in the covered part of the run. Roof, fencing and shelter all in one piece. So, no problems I thought as I walked back to the house - only to realise that the house roof (just felted for the winter) was being torn off! Climb on roof. Glasses torn off. Descend for spare pair An hour later it was all screwed down and I climbed down to see a row of chook faces watching every move. I hope they enjoyed the show.
