Hi,

Very excited as my new plot has been ploughed this afternoon.

I have decided to rotavate it as well because I don't want to dig it all,don't have time,and its nearly time to plant early spuds so I'll have to hire a rotavator.

Here are the pics. What do you think ?

I think I am vee jealous a) of that delicious looking soil and b) of the lovely views and surrounding countryside you have there! :tongue2: :D 

Just spent 4 hours on my overgrown plot today digging - but actually my soil looks quite good considering.... not that lovely red colour however - what is it that makes it that gorgeous colour?  We have fields up the road that look the same when they are ploughed...

Nice looking soil garddwr
Definitely get a rotovator over that pal  :) you may want to leave it for a week or two first though then the turf thats been dug in will have begun to die. Then get some onions sets in.

Thanks Rich,I have some onions from seed to put in which I sowed in the greenhouse today-hope they'll catch up, If not  I have sets.

Really nice looking soil there Garddwr. If it was in my yard I know I'd be picking rocks out of it for weeks  :(
