Just saw a post on the NWL freecycle saying that they had rescued 2000 Xbats today  8)  some still needing homes, thats some achievement.   :D

Wow, hope they all find homes. :) And enjoy sunshine and freedom.
Still tempted to get a couple from our local egg company, they are selling off in June a load of 1 year olds.

had txt from conventgirl chooks on way wohooo some didnt make it thro the night  :cry:  so fingers crossed for ours.

That's brilliant!!!!! Get my little girls August 2nd.....sad to think they are stuck there till then  :(  Really looking forward to giving them all the space they need to do 'chicken things'.

I'm picking my 6 up from spalding tonight when i finish work.  Have got them quilts and a special snuggly warm place for them to rest their weary, shell shocked beaks !!

feel quilty now as not got quilts  :oops: for mine. just a fresh bed of shavings.will that do?? :?

I'm sure they won't mind slumming it whilst you dash out to Debenhams and buy them all 15 tog quilts, not forgetting the matching quilt covers and pillow cases  :lol:  :lol:

my god i'm starting to sound like babe, they'll be after swings and paddling pools next!!! :shock:  :shock:

Yes, but Babe would insist on pink glittery ones.  Whether duvets or paddling pools  :wink:  :lol:  :wink:

and wow all those lucky girls getting rescued today  :D  im looking forward to seeing their first portraits. its a wonderful thing you are all doing, and watching them enjoying their freedom and growing new fluff is priceless :D
