[Potty Plotty Lotty]

Last night I went down to the plot in trepidation after a ridiculous amount of rain over the past 10 days and was pleasantly surprised at the limited amount of slug damage. Prior to this it had been too dry for much slug activity.

I sprinkled a few more pellets down before I left and two hours later the heavens opened again and we had another inch of rain in no time at all.

I'm finding that between slugs eating everything and cold and rain meaning germination poor, my plot is looking bit bare

Its the worst year I,ve know it in my garden

I have just bought some nematodes off the inter web for the first time. They don't sell them in our local garden centres...plenty of wool pellets and poisons which I don't want to use because I have a pond full of frogs

So bad here, slug pellets in the hanging baskets....
