Started off some Calibra petit pois using method recommended, I think, by mumofstig: two per module, plant out at 10 cm apart. Then heavy rain stopped play.

Got some manure from the stables and mixed it with my birthday mega bag of compost, dug it all in!  Cut round tree holes to get out the grass and sprinkled in wood ash from fire.  Planted garlic, carrots Nantes and chanteney, moved my blueberry bush to make room for another one, weeded the raspberries, moved the unknown brassicas into their new bed, oh and sowed the sugar snaps.  Busy day!

Planted out sorrel and sowed, basil, late brussels (Bedford), kohl rabi, and calabrese.
Wathced about five pairs of frogs making spawn in the pond.

Hubby put slabs around the greenhouse, laid the three slab path inside. Put some tiny piddly lettuce in the community tunnel. Put in the spuds, that should have gone in yesterday.

He came home with some more guttering for my vertical gardening.

Repaired the shed roof with new felt (managed to get 1/3 off in homebase so not too bad). Raked over a bed and out in some supports ready for first sowing of peas next wkend. Collected another buckets worth of stones  :nowink:

Also made the first plot crumble of the year  :D - rhubarb picked today and freezer blackberries from last year

Had my mum round for dinner, so took her to my allotment. Had a look around and then the heavens opened. Luckily we had gone with the car, so stayed dry!
