I don't think we'll grow radishes again as we have discovered that we don't really like them!  Well, not enough anyway.

Spinach, won't be growing red onions next year like everyone else's their woody I'm sticking to shallots, tried growing cauliflower and broccoli this year but the flea beetles liked them and turned them into skeletons withing days.

I noticed beetroot appearing a few times in this post  Try roasting whole in skins for around 45 minutes. They don't lose their flavour, and have hardly any leakage. Yum Yum!!!! :D None of that vinegar dodo needed either  ???

A plot without beetroot is madness in my books. Roasted, chutnied, freshly grated and pickled anyway does for me.

We don't all like the same things - it would be boring if we were all the same  :nowink:

Won't grow turnips again, they tasted like big tough radishes and I didn't like them at all. Only thing I know of that I don't like!  Planted swedes instead- yum!

I've *almost* given up on cabbage...I don't have the time to pick off the eggs/caterpillars and it seems to take only one day to see the leaves being shredded to ribbons so it does not seem logical to tie up the ground with something that has a greater chance of failure than success (for me).  Although, having said this I think I may try one or two in the next year just to see...

Peas. Just cant be bothered for all the tedium of them

Cauliflower. Never quite work!

Asparagus peas. Look lovely but a bland taste and a bit gimmicky.
