just starting to plan what is going to put where, and would like to know which veg dont like been planted close together

Big question, onion types and bean sort do not go down well together.

I can't remember either, but I do know that the few that weren't fond of each other really put crop rotation out of use. Personally, I never worry about it as its not a real detest situation. I simply allow a small spacing between different items (eg beans and onions) and they do fine.

Good advice - I tend to mix stuff up a bit anyway and plant flowers as well - keeps the bees happy and it's nice in summer.

I asked this question and someone sent me a huge list of plants that liked/disliked one another.Look for companion planting on page 2 or 3 of grow your own. Its brill
