gutted. In both senses of the word. Recently started off a large allotment and had just about finished my shed repairs. All my tools and seeds were inside. Had a call to say vandals had burnt it to the ground. Inspected it yesterday and there is literally a pile of ash left. Was feeling totally despondent but watched BBC2 programme last night and feel inspired to start once again!

Steerpike what can I say I am SO sorry to hear this  :evil: And your seeds and tools as well!! What the hell could they think to achieve by this destruction. I do hope this doesn't put you off the enjoyment of gardening and that the allotment folks can do something to improve the lot safety. Positive thoughts sent your way...All the best - IP

What makes mindless idiots do things like that? Boredom isnĀ“t an excuse, when I was younger there was nothing what so ever to do in the village where we lived (still isnĀ“t) but we never hung about the streets or vandalised things, would have been too scared of my dad giving me a wallop if IĀ“d been in trouble with the police!

Thats a real bummer mate, :evil: have you thought about making a replacement shed, out of corugated steel sheets, that would be vandal proof, hope you get back on track soon, you've got the right attitude
