Met office states for tonight 'Less cold than recent nights, with frost unlikely. Minimum temperature 3 °C'.

Today was meant to be the day I uncovered the spuds and put out the runner beans but 3C is a bit close for comfort  I think that I might wait another day and be on the safe side.

Yes, I think I’ll give it another day and then it’s everything out. Everything in the greenhouse is at the stage where it looks really healthy and big, but could soon start looking unhappy.

Reckon our frost must have been relatively unusually as I noticed yesterday that it has blacked the new growth on some oak and ash trees in the vicinity. Never seen that before

Agree Monday looks like liberation day. Veg in my conservatory are getting restless.
I’m getting fed up with in out dance including bringing tomatoes into the house on cold nights. Hopefully no more frosts till after summer.
Keep digging

Hardening-off de-mountable shelves (outside), and blow-away greenhouse for same reason, are being scaled down tomorrow, probably to just one low shelf to save me bending down too far..:0~

Had to put the sprinkler on for an hour today, things are far too dry!

What a difference a week makes!
