I wonder if you can advise me please?
My Gals had a good moult during the winter and they are all nearly fully feathered again.
However Gytha is still bald around her vent and between her legs but what really concerns me is her skin is all bright red were the feathers haven't grown back.
Is this normal? and if not what can i do for her?

Some hens do seem to have red skin which always looks dry and sore, but nothing is wrong with them

I remember when I got my rescue hens they had bald bottoms, but only had a very red rear end, however sometimes you could see it change to a lighter red???

With my bald bum ex batt her skin colour changes in line with her laying cycle
