HELP! i dont know what breedmy duck is

i bought a duck off a breeder a few months ago and got told he was a miniture appleyard duck.
i called a different breeder to buy a new duck for him to have a mate, and i described the duck to him he said it wasnt that breed. when i told him the breeders name from who i bought it off he said he has had a lot of people who have bought ducks off him and not been happy (when i bought him he had a snotty bill and i had to monitor him and he also had a fit, but he is healthy now)

iv looked at loads of breeds of duck an he looks nothing like him

Well you are right that he is certainly not an Appleyard. I suspect he is a hybrid although hard to tell from the little pic. Kind of looks a little like a dark Campbell.

How old and how large is he? They do change into nuptial plummage when they are about 24 weeks old (although he still definately isn't an Appleyard).

he is 3 months and 5 days. he has the chest of a mallard, an the head and wings of a black indian runner duck..... so im proper confussed! i still love him all the same, but i would still like to know what he is so i can find out abit more about the breeds background
