Ok, I'm not sure if this is where I should be asking but what on earth is going on with this company? Every week I check it out and tonight it said 2008 stock now in for ordering. Sounds straightforward? Ha, you go on their site and try it. Everything is either sold out or catalogue suspended. Answers please on a pc. to!! Am I the only one outthere who is having this problem? Help! Jan. :?:      :?  :?
I know less today than I did yesterday, and I knew nothing then!

You can buy Durham Early Spring cabbage seed, but not a lot else!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I found them excellent. Try ordering nearer the time the seeds go in.

Hi BBF, glad you found everything ok but I am finding it impossible to buy anything. Go on their sitr now and you will see what I mean! I've been trying for a couple of months and the only difference is that it now twlls you that they have 2008 stock in but when you go to the shop it's all sold out or unavailable. I know there is something wrong but when I sent them an e mail I didn't get an answer. They are definately not putting their prices down, they already undercut everyone else.  :?

Just had a quick roam through their website & quite a few things are 'CATALOG SUSPENDED', so I thought i'd give them a ring.
Seems that they are updating their pricing on their website & this takes a few days to do. Gentleman I spoke to was very concerned that the site hasn't updated properly yet & he will look into it.

Great minds think alike!  I emailed them and got this back today.

Dear Ann Clarke,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Our website was updated to a new shopping cart system and product range on Friday, which meant that the site was suspended for approximately 10 hours.  However it is now working ok and we have received a large number of orders today.  It may be that your computer is retrieving pages from the cache on your PC rather than from our website, please try refreshing the pages showing ‘catalog suspended’ or deleting the temporary files on your PC.

If this still doesn’t work please let me know the product you are having trouble with and I will try and resolve the issue from here.

Seem to be up & running now.

Noticed that they now only quote weight, not the number of seed.

For example 25g is the minimum order for Autumn King carrot seed - that's an awful lot of seed for the average gardener. Fine if you can arrange to split the seeds amongst a group of fellow gardeners.

According to Dr. Hessayon, there are about 20,000 carrot seed to an ounce. So 25g is over 22,500 seeds!

If you look at the technical information it tells you how many seeds are approx to the gram. They state 800/900.

I got a lovely email back from them saying that they had a few problems with updating the site, you were getting some of the old pages and some of the new ones, but that they should all be okay now!
