I have planned:

Beetroot - Boltardy and Golden
Cabbage - Greyhound
Carrot - Amsterdam Forcing and Parmex
Cauliflower - All Year Round
Courgette - All Green Bush, Jemmer and Rugosa Friulana
Fennel - Rudy
Leek - Jolant
Runner Bean - Scarlet Emperor
Spinach - Bordeaux
Squash - Scallopini and Sweet Potato
Sweetcorn - Minipop
Tomato - Suncherry, Sungold and Pomodoro Yellow Pear

As well as potatoes and garlic.

I haven't had huge success so far though, so if I get half of all that in, I'll be pleased !

My list is very similar to Digger Dave's.

I would add to his list:
Beans (Climbing French)   Cobra (for yield), Blue Lake (for flavour and long handing time)
Brussels sprouts               Maximus F1 (for me has been better and earlier than Nelson F1)
Carrot                               Sweet Candle (for exhibition)
Pea                                   Kelvedon Wonder (for yield)
                                         Little Marvel (for flavour)
Sugar Ann (a lovely sweet sugar snap)
Hurst Green Shaft (a large pea for exhibition)
Potatoes                           Maris Peer (produced a very large crop for me of large potatoes)
Charlotte and Roseval (usually small salad but also grow large)

I shall be growing the usual "suspects" in the garden, although I might go back to White Lady runner beans instead of Celebration as the latter seem to run out of steam more quickly than I would like.

This will be my first year with a greenhouse to grow things in; unfortunately my forward planning so far has not matched my excitement, but I will definitely try at least 3 varieties of tomato, greenhouse cucumbers (just let them try and die on me! ) and because I always like to try something different each year I'll probably give melon a go (no idea which variety but I can't resist the temptation!)  :)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
