I can get onto mine, not that i can do anything when i am there the ground is that hard :(
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

"Seriously missing my allotment!"

What allotment? Where?  ???

I think I had one earlier in the year.... somewhere. I forget what's on it and what it looks like. I do remember a shed and needing to do something down there.

I think it's time to check through the photos for evidence and through the receipts as I'm pretty sure I paid for something to do with allotments around this time of year in 2009.

Me too. You can only do so much looking. Managed to dig up a couple of leeks and took a brussel sprout stalk for the greens on Christmas day.Suppose her in doors will add some form of tinned yuk to make up the veg.Even too cold in the garage to play with the rotorvators. This is soul destroying. Even got the shoe boxes out from under bed to list what seed I already have so I don't go buying to many duplicates.as in past years.Checked my stash of potatoes and onions and they all look fine. Topped up the rat bait tray in the allotment shed for the second time. I keep nothing edible in there so they must be just getting in from the terrible weather. No signs of nesting in it, but the muck heap is pretty close, so I suspect they are in that. On sedds ,I am going to try a few different varieties this year. Tried PRIZE WINNER  leeks last year and they are not a patch on the musselborough I grow from my own seed. Won't be growing them in a hurry.
