i've got a few veggies on the go. broccli, cabbage, leeks and onions. planted 4 small pots of each. 2 been growing now for about a week 2 only been in a day. when do i need to transfer them to bigger pots? i can see the cabbage has started to come through. (only tiny little bits) am new to this. trying to be a little more self suffiient.

I tend to pot on when I can see the roots coming through the bottom of the pot! or plant onto the plot.  I think if the roots aren't at the bottom of the pot then the plant hasn't grown yet - which sounds obvious but some plants can look like they are growing well but then you take them out of the pot and the root ball just fills half the pot ( had a tomato that did that today) while some poor growers that look not so good have a really good root ball.  Good luck with your plants.

thnks i need luck im not a natural a growing things. Its worth a try though. Will probably be asking plenty of questions over the next few weeks. Grateful for any help.
