lol...if you look through the list on my first post of gardening diary you will note that there are NO carrots. Last year was such a disaster (and I think I know why) that I just decided to avoid the misery.

I purchased, but passed on planting, cucumbers because, after reading so many posts here about issues, due to the fact that...well...I just need more experience here. They just scare the hades out of me!

But how right you are...we learn through what we do right...and what we do reaaaaalllly wrong.
