I've lost the plot!!! Havn't made it up the plot for a month due to work commitments, band commitments, 8month old baby and stinking cold!!!!! missing our plot.... :-( We still have a row of swedes and parsnips in, so hoping to get up tomorrow and do a bit before they kick us off!!!

Went and had a tidy up - ground bit frozen but still managed to dig some parsnips (huuuuuuuge), leeks (definitely not huge) , salsify and a bit of psb.  Some blighter has been harvesting my broccoli and psb - I know because they don't put the net back properly. Grrrr.
Lotty holder since Aug 09... I've FINALLY finished clearing it! On with the p.lanting  ....

So you've got one of them too, the lowest of the low.

How about a very good coating of senokot on a few broccoli spears after you have harvested the ones you want. Then perhaps the thief will get a little bit more than they anticipated

Either that or a great big sign in a clear plastic bag telling them exactly what you think of them and warning that others are keeping an eye on your plot to catch the thief.

I'd be truly mad!!  >:(

Picked some sprouts for tea, fed the little birds, cursed the pigeons, and had a nice cuppa with the only other person mad enough to be there!

Managed to extricate some leeks and a few parsnips this afternoon (just got to work out how to fill in the holes caused by the dynamite now!)

Have also been given care of two "precious" Scabious plants from a friend of mine who thinks they will be safer overwintering in my greenhouse (just wondering whether to tell her they are now sat on my kitchen windowsill; failure is not an option!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

If I stay inside any longer I will truly go mad. Snow or no snow, there are sprouts to be picked and planning to be dreamed about with thermals on and a hot coffee in hand. As it is now officially broth weather those leeks are coming up!!
