Hi Grannie, you could try sprinkling a little brewers yeast in the chicks water.

I did at one stage last weekend look forward to winter, as I was so tired and wanted it to stop. But I am on top of everything again. So I know what you mean.  I do not think I could ever completly stop though.

I won't stop completely either Stu, but I have always wanted to travel, never had the money to do much, and when I met Brian I thought I had found likeminded person, I've already reported him to Trading standards!!

Also I want to go and visit my friends and the odd family member, and some of my family members are really odd!!!!  :D

try this it worked on some v poorly baby rabbits i had  and was half pint of boiled water :( pinch of salt allow to cool or can be given warm if v weak put in a syringe and gently squirt about a mil or 2 slowly. can honestly say  my baby rabbits all rabbit or prevoius rabbit owner will tell you once they had the runs that was it for them, i kept the babies on this alone with no other feed or water for 2 days and all ov them lived :) basic survival like on a drip for us, steralised water, sugar and small amount of salt pls give it a go, dont know if it will work but worth a try

I always try the boiled water with a little sugar for energy and salt for re-hydration, also tried the brewers yeast and vitamins, but little RIR baby isn't going to make another night. she is very poorly.  I should have dispatched her earlier, but wanted to give her a chance.

I hate doing it, makes me feel sick, but I don't like them suffering, although she's is very calm and quiet.

MARMITE!!!!!!!

In all seriousness, it has loads of folic acid, when pregnant midwife was thrilled to hear that I ate loads of marmite because of the amount of folic acid in it! per 4gram serving it has 50% of RDA and 60% of B12, 17.5% Niacin, 16.6% thiamin, and 17.5% Riboflavin!!

Telling ya... marmite is fab!
