Hi, we're first time incubators of bantam eggs ( mainly pekins). We're on day 17 and have all sorts of conflicting information as to the incubation period of bantams (19 or 21?). The problem is knowing when to raise the humidity prior to hatching - do I assume hatching will be on day 19 or 21 (or take a mean of 20 - ie: stop turning and add extra water on day 18)? Hi, although bantam eggs were hatched under a broody hen rather than in an incubator they started to hatch on day 21 and finished day 22. Hope this helps.

most of my bantams take 21 days.
