Genetics and in breeding.
« on: February 27, 2009, 12:59 »
Background.
Orpington (Buff) is Mated by a Orpington (Black) Cock. (Unrelated)
Off spring (Mainly Black with 2-3 Buff feathers showing at top of the wings. ) Run with father.

Would you or would you not incubate the eggs or let the daughters sit on the eggs i.e. bring up young?
The lady up the road that is looking after my one and only is planning on doing this and she thinks it is OK and has been lead to believe it is by a very old poultry hand. I am not sure.
Stuart

Dont worry I am just paranoid duckie.

If I get the wrong end of the stick its because I have speed read. Honest.

Blar blar blar blar snorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre.
