rats/mice like it as they have been chewinmg their way into my box in the shed and itno my slug pellets too.  Left a couple of nice presents for them now....SNAP and the pest is gone, i hope, they aint cute they are 'orrible.

Not sure about blood meal, but I know bone meal takes about 6 months before it breaks down enough for the plants to absorb the nutrients, so applying it now is actually a wise move.

I walked past the rat and mouse poison in B&Q once, rather than pi8ctures of evil snarling rats, they had these cute little mice on the packaging.
