I've moved this to GYO where it more suited.

Please feel free to pop back to the welcome forum and introduce yourself.

I've also modified the title to reflect your question.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Hi
We have a really cheap shop near us called QD stores, not sure if they are all over the country.
They have this although didn't check size of bag or price.

Try your local allotment shop if there is one, a cattle market ? or an agricultural merchant may be able to help

We have been having this problem for years on our lotty assoc. Not just with FB&B but also for lime and other requirements. We are a small bunch of just 27 members so we can't really justify opening a shop.
Instead, I contacted a few hort suppliers and I managed to find one who would give us trade prices if we put in a shared order between us. If we put in a collective order of over £330 we could have free delivery onto site.

I spoke to our members, gave them a price list which I had cobbled together and told them I needed their order by the end of the month with the cash payment. I placed the order and paid up front over the phone and we got our delivery. Some of the prices are as follows:

Garden lime. 20kgs   £3-70
FB & B           25kgs   £10-50
Growmore     25kgs   £14-50

I also ordered six 25kg sacks of potatoes of different variety's which worked out at  £0.70p per kilo.

All sold at cost price with no profit, but lots of happy members.

Allot2learn those are great prices.. less than half price compared to the best I've seen. Could you name the supplier for us please. I may be able to get some of our plotters together.
