That looks great peapod.

Some of my swedes were OK last year but most had brown centres, boron deficiency I believe.

I'm using a secret ingredient this year so fingers crossed.  My ambition is to give a perfect swede to one of our plot holders (36 years on the same plot) who says no one can grow them on our site.

I was told that too, that they won't grow on our site, so I'm trying them at home first.  Would be interested to know what the secret ingredient is though
