Sorry!!!

But I couldnt resist showing you my first swede! I use these loads, so Im delighted they are all coming along so well
( I took a tip from DD and showed something to scale it)

My first EVER swede!

That looks lovely.  I'm not sure if mine are growing cos the leaves are getting munched.  I wouldn't mind but they're in a container on my flat roof and still the snails get up there :evil:

That looks great peapod.

Some of my swedes were OK last year but most had brown centres, boron deficiency I believe.

I'm using a secret ingredient this year so fingers crossed.  My ambition is to give a perfect swede to one of our plot holders (36 years on the same plot) who says no one can grow them on our site.

oh! Ive never heard of that!! I hope mines got a nice centre! We love swede and carrot mash - have it every Sunday, and my snips have about another 2 weeks to go..I cant wait till I get all my veg from the plot on my familys plate :-)

Did it all from the garden tonight... Spuds, Snips, Terrences, Cabbage, and Beans..... Ohh. and SWMBO manages to hide half a  courgette under the cabbage too :(

Last time I looked my swedes were about a quarter of that size but that is about 1000 times bigger than they got last year when they were decimated by slugs!

I could show a pic of one of mine, however to get the scale right I would need to use a 1mm ball bearing :( :)
