Hi all you chicken peeps, I'm katt from Bristol, just got my first 3 hens and if no one minds will probably be on here quite a bit asking stupid questions. Its very daunting getting chickens for the first time, and every move they make looks like a potential problem, you feel like a first time parent bringing your new baby home for the first time. (useless)

Anyway, have to say what a fantastic forum this is, every one seems very helpful and friendly and I love the banter between you all.

Katt  :D

I got my first 2 hens 2 days ago. :) there are lots of threads on settling in, cleaning houses, lice etc all being talked about today! :)
look forward to seeing you around and seeing your pictures - as everyone says you HAVE to post!

thanks for the welcome guys, don't worry I'm sure I'll beat the cat little question soon, incidentally I once made a necklace out of polymer clay and cat litter, perhaps I'll post a pic not that its chicken related.
Heres my first stupid question, why does my young copper maran stand on one leg? the other 2 don't (goldline and babcock).
