We found a farm with visitors centre so took the kids to see how they would react to the chickens. It was great they were just wandering about all over the place and following us for food.

Well my son (5) proved me wrong and even went straight upto them trying to stoke them. (he usually runs screaming from kittens) Chicken having none of it mind   My 2 year old was just the same and loved them. 10 year old asking if we could take them home. Just my hubby to convince now  

So I have made my mind up and going to get a coop etc sorted. Luckily the same farm sells chickens too so know where to go when we are ready
