Don't forget the man with a digger to clear it. For an 'expert' garden designer he didn't seem to understand crop rotation!!

What a crock of manure (you know what I meant)

I like his photo diary of people who made his plot!

Even the shed was bought by his pal and he helped erect it - nearly forgot the roof though!

I saw about 15 min of it (turned over to Corrie St) What I wondered is...
Would a shed be safe on pallets like that?  I thought that a gust of wind (ok a strong gust) would blow it over. Wouldn´t the pallets gradually sink into the ground too?
The old council where I used to live charge loads for a tiny bag of ´compost´ or soil improver as they call it, think it is around a fiver-  can´t imagin them giving the stuff away free

I haven't watched Gardeners World for years!  Today I finished reading through all the gardening mags that Aggy gave me, and now I'll pass them on to my nighbour down the road who is in her first year of proper gardening and chook keeping (Amberlinks of course!!!!) lol

I am getting so fed up with Gardeners World. I think it was better as a 30 minute show!! As for the allotment piece *what a load of rubbish that was and I am a new allotment holder! He gets fantastic looking wood for his beds for nothing!! and swears its nothing to do with the camera crew following him around. He gets help on three counts!! Free compost! If only all allotments are like his! I have had my allotment for a month and I am still digging and weeding!! This was an exercise on how easy taking on an allotment can be but in reality it can be very hard much harder than was portrayed on this show.  BRING BACK ALAN TITCHMARSH!!! Gardeners World has become the *laura ashley* of gardening shows!! all chintz and pot pourri!!
