Need some advice, I found a yellow brown fluffy growth on my kale  o  the leave tip edge in my polytunnel but can't find information on this anywhere any help please.

Are you sure it wasn't a caterpillar?

Thank you, thank you for the reply, definitely  not a caterpillar it looks like somebfungus of some sort I think.

Hmm, can't see anything obvious in my Dr Hessayon veggie book 

I'd chop that bit off, feed the plants with perhaps a seaweed or other liquid feed, and see what happens?
