Hi all, hope youre keeping well

This could be a daft question, but when i got my allotment there was an established tree on it. As the fruits began to grow someone said they thought it was damson. However, the fruits seem rather green for damsons?? Could anyone please take a look at the photos and see what they think?? Thank you
