I took my eye off the plum trees as I thought they didn't ripen for another 3 weeks, but whilst I wasn't looking they ripened and everything to walk, crawl , scurry and fly has helped themselves.   

I managed to rescue a few but now Im confused - I had always assumed from descriptions that they were Warwickshire Drooper but Im begging to wonder if they're actually Yellow Pershore   

Anyone familar with either? Picture attached, far right was ripe the odd shape may have been from the pear moth maggot I found when I cut into it  flesh doesn't separate from the stone. They're certainly sweet enough to eat when ripe, with an apricot texture / taste.
