I ignored the plot despite the sunshine and warmth - it'll be just as wet saturatedas it was the other day.

But at home I sowed the leek seed, potted up some lupins and plonked the shallots into modules.
It's a start.

Yesterday recovered from the shock of seeing sun and popped Down to the plot and doubled the size of the bed for my spuds. Ground pretty wet but managed to expand the bed and pile up turf . Some beds waterlogged but can't complain compared to others at present. Also collected some spent mushroom compost and top dressed my asparagus bed. Unfortunately the size of the bags had shrunk and the price increased as compost now mixed with peat and called "conditioner" !!

Cheers

Keep digging

I had put some weed suppression fabric over one of the beds recently.  Had to refit it after the wind.  Buy it had all stayed on.  Put some fleece over my leek seed bed.  Harvested some leeks for lunch.  Quite a spring like day today.
