Compost heaps are a good place to grow squashes or courgettes! :D

I have a few black and red ants nests, I've just been leaving them to it but have to be careful of the red ants as their bites drive me crazy.

If there in the timber of your raised bed are they the bigger wood ants? I think these might be a protected specises
