And before anyone mentions the Kent Blue saga of last year, that was posted more in humour than anything!

My early potatoes have been fabulous, since May 15th we have dined well.
Mange-Tout is another more than we can eat crop, carrots, turnip, & beetroot are good.
Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be suspected of knowing nothing than opening it and proving it.

I think it's on the early side in the season to measure yet. :)

:) I weighed and listed everything that I harvested in my 1st year. It was so encouraging. Last year I just weighed. But I will join B Q and list everything this year then I will know what works and what doesn't. also I would never remember anything .... I'm already working on my next year's plan  So far had 3 lbs strawbs and 2lbs early spuds

I think it's on the early side in the season to measure yet. :)

Also depends on what you grow - not a rhubarb fan, prefer summer crops such as toms, courgettes, cukes, winter squash, sweetcorn, beans - none of which are remotely near ready for harvesting due to late sowing after the coldest spring.  Not big on salad stuff like lettuce or beetroot, onions won't be ready for at least another month or more ...

Anyway, the grand total of my harvest so far this year is:

4 strawberries (new plants)
2 garlic bulbs (early variety)

At last people on my side.  :tongue2:

Well done Ann you will beat me later in the season, especially looking at my sweetcorn right now.

Just blame my age its because us YOUNG people have time on our hands. Errrrr forgot i am 37 now  ok blame the fact i am home with children and sad things make my day. Well ....... Not sad as in teary but sad as in "cant believe this woman is that sad to weigh her veg"

I wish i had made a book with each year in as once we have a harvest total and the kids have priced it all and talked non stop about growing £ 800 pound in veg on our little plot i tend to ditch the list. Mind you i do have a blog so maybe that is still in the deep of blogland.
