CARROT'S GOING ROTTEN
« on: November 05, 2020, 07:46 »
In 60yrs of growing Carrot's I have never known my Carrot's to go rotten in the ground in November ,
I usually leave my carrot's in the ground all winter with no trouble exempt the odd slug hole .My ground is well drained ,very light sanded soil .I have dug the few good one's up to store in wood shaving in the garage.

After a very dry summer, we have had extremely heavy rain this October, I suspect that's to blame, despite your beds being well-drained.  :(
