I have some peas growing for shoots, today my son was eating them tendrils an all. I assume that all parts of the plant are edible, he seemed to enjoy them but I stuck to the leaves. Does anyone else eat the tendrils?

They are a true delicacy in restaurants and you can pay inflated prices for them in posh supermarkets

Course you can, it's the whole shoot you eat, stalk, tendrils and all! Yum, very pea...y.

Very tasty but nowhere near as good as the real thing IMHO.

To eat a pea plant before maturity should be crime.
