Big question, onion types and bean sort do not go down well together.

I can't remember either, but I do know that the few that weren't fond of each other really put crop rotation out of use. Personally, I never worry about it as its not a real detest situation. I simply allow a small spacing between different items (eg beans and onions) and they do fine.

Good advice - I tend to mix stuff up a bit anyway and plant flowers as well - keeps the bees happy and it's nice in summer.

well ... our sprouts and broccoli had a right old bundle last sunday so keep them apart if you can!  (sorry day off!)
