think i did a big boo boo. just had a look on google for some images on what it looks like. i had this growing in more than one spot in my garden and i ripped it out and chucked it away. i'll be looking out for this next time   

If it was comfrey it will be back...my predecessors planted one root in my garden & now I have Comfrey Wars every year...

Hi LilacSandy - if you got your comfrey from Garden Organic is more likely to be Bocking 14 which is sterile and will not self seed all over your garden so no worries there. As had been said you can plant it out now -weather permitting. When it is established you can split the 'roots' of the comfrey and create more plants - I did that last year and the new plants grew very quickly.

Thanks Springy, it was from Garden Organic so should be the bocking 14.  Off work on Thursday so will get it out then
