I put my Courgettes in on Sunday, and the Squash are going in on Saturday, so I hope not!

The weather up north in Aberdeen has been unseasonably warm, and I have held off

until May (despite growing impatience).

I think its a good bet we won't have a hard frost (even here) now. Touch wood

I heard its going to get colder next week, mind you they've been saying that for the last three weeks.

this week for instance, we were meant to be getting rain and coldness from monday onwards...

Yeah, thats why I had to put sun cream, factor 15 on this week was it..

I think this weather must be baffling the weather people as well.

Touch of frost here overnight. The dew on the lawn is a little crunchy & there is a thin skim of ice on the cat's water dish at the back door.

Hopefully the cloches & frames will have done their jobs well.

Frosts unlikely except in Shetland. Daytime 10 - 14C for Scotland and Northern Ireland with 14 - 18C for England and Wales.

Put runners, sweetcorn & tomatoes in yesterday (but I've spares/more coming on just in case and there's always the charity plant sales if they grow O.K.)

I don't plant through my polythene mulches till June as they get frosted later and earlier.
