I am about to tuck into new spuds,onion and brocolli followed by rhubarb crumble all from the allotment.  I had to buy in the meat for the casserole and some cauli as mine isn't ready yet but every week I keep thinking of the shopping bill its reducing its a wonderful feeling.  :lol:

They're Cara which I planted as a main crop but they seem to be ready now. So we dig them up when needed.

I've got Cara as a main crop and I did them last year as well. They keep well. All my main crops have got flowers on which I think is a bit early because they have only been in since the beginning of May.

they look great i bet your well pleased.
it will be a few weeks before my beans are anywhere near ready.got plenty of growth and flowers but only a few very tiny beans so far.
