Hi all

I have two varieties of tomato growing in the greenhouse and one of them has suffered blossom end rot on some of the fruits. Should these fruits be removed or can they recover?

You may as well pull them off, as they end up inedible -  BER is caused by irregular watering which stops the plant from absorbing enough calcium from the compost/soil.

I assumed as much but wanted to make sure before I got the knife out. It happened on the F1 plum that I was quite excited about :-(

I got 3 red tomatoes from about 15 plants last year.  2 of them had BER
