It started to rain the day Thames water announced a hosepipe ban (5th April), the taps disappeared from the stand pipes on the lottie and everyone was worried about how they would manage with watering cans.
The hosepipe ban was recently lifted (can't remember when) and still the rain continues. no one seemed to mind / care that the taps had not been put back on the stand pipes as there was no need for water.

I saw it this evening, on the bbc south east news.  I also cannot see it on the South East Water website either.....

Anglian water's ban was confirmed on the news. I'm afraid I don't know about South East Water

Have just read in this morning's paper that all remaining hosepipe bans have been lifted as from today. None remain in force anywhere in the country - so it was reported.

Veolia Water Central has lifted there ban 2day (9/7/12) its on there web site... about time too, the shortage they have (25%) is exactly what they lose in leakage (25%) see I knew it was my fault all along!!
