I picked some spuds today

They are "nicola" variety and I grew them in a bin in my shed and put them out when it got a bit warmer, hmmmmmmmmmmmm cant wait to try them.

Our Christmas potatoes (from last year) have started coming through today, amongst the crop of a completely different veg that is supposed to be, and is, growing.  :nowink:

Emptied out the Lady Christl and Rocket bags today

Lady Christl had an excellent yield but Rocket did not, so will not grow them next year.

I grew a few in a blue bin last year and they were lovely. Im now using the bin as a water butt  :wacko: so no spuds for me yet.
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

well ,, we had some from black flower pots 2 weeks ago,i set in each gave me an the wife days of new tatties.very nice too i must say
