I read about this on a Chili forum (I forgot the name of it some years ago), and everyone said how great it was.
I have just seen it for sale in B&Q and I will definately be trying it.

For anyone interested there have been a few discussions on here - just type "rock dust" into the search box for this board and you will find more than a page of different threads on the subject..........

The B&Q one is Volcanic rock dust.

If you go back up to the main forum menu and search from there you get the results.

Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting Klefti - the first time I tried it I got the results I described, but after reading your post I tried again and got your results, then I closed and re-opened my browser (IE9) and got the full results again (think I'll point this out to John - might be some sort of glitch in the new set-up.)  :)

When you said you used it to pot on some brassicas, did you just dig it into the soil or sprinkle on top? Sorry newbie!

I think it is IE9 - I have had this exact experience myself on this and other forums.  I have now switched to Google Chrome (as it was preinstalled) until I have time to research another browser.

Bought some rock dust this year to try to revitalise the one bed which is located in the only part of the plot that was previously cultivated and was pretty lifeless.  After two years of cultivating, the manure and other feed hasn't done the trick, so I am trying this as well.
