nemaslug angst
« on: March 30, 2012, 16:44 »
My nemaslug has just arrived. The instructions say 'water on the garden from the start of the growing season once soil temperatures hit 5ºC'. The soil temperature is well above 5C at the moment but the weather is set to turn colder. Am I OK to apply them now or should i wait? I am going to be using it in my raised beds.

It should say on the packet how long it can be kept in the fridge.

We are promised a cold spell this next week so if it will keep long enough I would wait until it warms up again. We might even get some rain by then which might make conditions better for using it.

I believe that as long as you keep it in the fridge, it will last until the expiration date. Of course the earlier you use it the better, but you'll need to wait for better temperatures.
